A program of Central Prairie Resource Conservation and Development

Honoring our Kansas WWII Heroes...

Honor Flights is a program begun in 2005 to send our World War II Veterans to Washington DC, to see the memorials dedicated to them - at no cost to the Veteran. Since then nearly 20,000 Veterans have been able to make the trip to see the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam memorials and the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery.

At present, the focus is the World War II Veterans then the Korean & Vietnam Veteran in their turn free of charge!

Recent statistics show that we lose 1,800 of our WWII Veterans EVERY DAY, so time is critical.  Central Prairie Honor Flights' goal is to send as many Veterans to Washington DC as possible.  We sent 5 total HONOR FLIGHTS
between fall 2008 and summer 2009 and want to send even more as funds come available.  Please make a generous donation today...
